SUCCESS STORY OF VLE MANJEET KAUR FROM VILLAGE KALWAN IN HARYANA

Manjeet Kaur is a VLE from village Kalwan in Haryana. Manjeet set up her CSC in October 2014 and delivering large number of services through her centre. Well educated Manjeet Kaur is Masters in Sociology and Masters in Computer Applications. Her father is a retired Army official and husband is a school teacher. Her proactive efforts in connecting with the people yielded encouraging financial results for her. CSC came in her life with great changes. It provided a platform of success, confidence, self-employment and ability to work for women empowerment.

For the maximum Aadhaar enrollments in India, she was felicitated by Hon’ble Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad. Manjeet Kaur also got the award of Best Woman Entrepreneur by the Chief Minister of Haryana. At her CSC centre, she has created a group named MUSKAN that aims welfare of children, girl education, old age people, environment and digital literacy. She says: “I am thankful to god to be a part of the CSC family which has provided me an opportunity to stand on my own feet and become independent. CSC has transformed lives of many people like me.”
