‘MOVR’ service is now available on Digital Seva portal under ‘Travel’ services.
This service has been launched with an aim of hiring and lease of farm machinery and other equipment between farmers across the country. The idea is to provide easy access to high-value farm equipment to farmers at an affordable cost.
VLEs will register farmers in their areas who wish to provide their tools and equipment like cultivators, plough, reaper, seed drills, thrushers, sprayers, etc. on rent to other farmers. Through a user-friendly interface, the application will display all the equipment available in a particular geographical area, along with their rates. Multiple types of equipment can be listed on the portal. Farmers in need of machinery can compare the rates on offer and make a booking.
